Tomorrow is orientation! I'm so excited, it's crazy.
I recognize I have nothing new to add about the school, but since I just spent the majority of my day unpacking/organizing, cut me a little slack, alright? I haven't been this excited for something in a long time, and it's good that I am since it sounds like I'll have my work cut out for me.
In the limited free time I allotted myself for today I did manage to finish off F.E.A.R. which was a decent shooter. I thought the graphics (particularly the lighting effects) were thoroughly impressive, but the game did feel a little repetitive in that it felt like you were fighting the same guys in the same hallways. I like what they did with some of the level design, but it wasn't varied enough to hold my attention. Still, I managed to finish it (not typically my MO) so there's something to be said for that. Alright, well I'm gonna kill a little more time and then it's off to bed before my first day of game school!
